Advanced Nurse PractitionerPosition: Advanced Nurse PractitionerLocation: LondonSalary: Up to £67,000 (dependent on experience) plus benefits and enhancementsHours: Full-timeContract: PermanentMeditalent is recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our client’s private clinic in London.This position requires advanced clinical skills and the ability to work autonomously or as part of a multidisciplinary team. It is ideal for an experienced advanced nurse practitioner with strong leadership qualities and a passion for providing patient-centered care, especially for individuals with complex conditions.Key Responsibilities:

  • Triage urgent care requests and provide advanced nursing care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
  • Perform specialised procedures such as biopsies, spinal taps, and thoracentesis.
  • Monitor and review patient progress, plan safe discharges, and prescribe medications as an independent prescriber.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Educate patients and families on health and wellness topics.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests and interpret results to inform clinical decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the NMC.
  • Advanced Practitioner qualification (degree/master’s level).
  • A minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience (preferably in primary care).
  • Teaching, Assessing, or Mentorship qualification.
  • Independent prescriber status.

Experience:

  • Proven success in an Advanced Nurse Practitioner role, with a strong track record of leadership and clinical expertise.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise care effectively, manage change, and work collaboratively across sectors.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of applied pharmacology, physical assessments, and evidence-based prescribing.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, including team motivation, change management, and formal/informal teaching.
  • Strong critical thinking, delegation, and problem-solving skills.
