Are you an enthusiastic Paediatric Nurse with experience in Tissue Viability? Our client presents an exciting part-time opportunity to become a part of their committed team at a prestigious hospital for women and children as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. This position entails delivering expert care and guidance to young patients dealing with skin conditions and birthmarks.

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist for Paediatric Tissue Viability, you will:

  • Provide expert guidance and support to nursing teams caring for children with skin conditions and tissue viability needs.
  • Lead and coordinate patient care, ensuring the best interests of the child and family.
  • Advocate for children and young people undergoing dermatology treatments.
  • Develop and participate in patient clinical pathways for skin condition treatments.
  • Collaborate with dermatology consultants to set care standards for patients.
  • Train and develop the nursing team in dermatology and tissue viability care.
  • Ensure hospital policies for dermatology and tissue viability services are up to date.

The ideal candidate for the Clinical Nurse Specialist for Paediatric Tissue Viability, role will have:

  • A Children's Nursing Qualification RN Child or RSCN with valid NMC registration.
  • Substantial post-registration experience in children's nursing.
  • Relevant qualification and experience in Tissue Viability.
  • A mentorship qualification.
  • Basic/Intermediate Paediatric Life Support certification.
  • Level 3 Safeguarding qualification.
