Are you a qualified Surgical Care Practitioner looking for a new opportunity? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a vibrant and professional theatre team at an "Outstanding" rated private care facility in London.

This full-time role comes with a competitive salary of up to £55,000. You'll be working in a state-of-the-art theatre, equipped with the latest Da Vinci Surgical Systems, and be part of one of the largest multi-specialty private robotic programmes in the UK.

Our client is part of a renowned private hospital organisation, offering four operating theatres offering a wide range of surgeries. With 49 patient bedrooms and four Level 3 ICU beds, they give exceptional treatment across a multitude of acute and complex care. As a Surgical Care Practitioner, your responsibilities will include:

  • Reporting to the Theatre Manager and working closely with colleagues
  • Utilising your strong knowledge and experience in operating theatres
  • Understanding the perioperative needs of patients
  • Supervising a multi-disciplinary team providing the highest standard of patient care across a varied caseload

The ideal candidate for the Surgical Care Practitioner role should have:

  • Qualification as a Surgical Care Practitioner (SCP) experienced in Robotics (Da Vinci)
  • Registration as a healthcare professional (e.g. nurse or ODP)
  • Recent experience in theatre nursing
  • An aptitude for clinical and operative practice
  • The ability to effectively manage the clinical area on a day-to-day basis and plan ahead
