Introduction

Are you an experienced Theatre Scrub Nurse looking for a new opportunity to work in a prestigious private hospital in the heart of Central London? We are currently seeking a dedicated and highly skilled individual to join a dynamic surgical team, offering the chance to work in a state-of-the-art operating theatre. Duties

As a Theatre Scrub Nurse, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Assisting surgeons during procedures by ensuring that the operating room is prepared with the necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensuring patient safety and maintaining a sterile environment throughout the surgical process.
• Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, including surgeons, anaesthetists, and healthcare assistants, to provide high-quality care.
• Monitoring the patient's condition and responding to any changes or emergencies during surgery.
• Maintaining accurate records and adhering to hospital policies and health & safety regulations.
• Assisting in the training and support of junior staff as needed.

Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

• A valid Nursing and Midwifery Council registration (NMC).
• Previous experience working as a Scrub Nurse in a theatre setting, preferably in a private healthcare environment.
• A strong understanding of surgical procedures and aseptic techniques.
• The ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and patient-centred care.
