Business Content Writer role:
The successful candidate will work with the Strategy Director to develop and write compelling business presentations and stories. Ensuring the consistent and professional communication of the UK business capabilities, initiatives, projects, and brands.  The role will transform and unify their storytelling, facilitating colleagues across key departments to pitch, sell, inform and educate, both internally and externally.
Business Content Writer Main tasks and responsibilities:
· To write clearly communicated ‘stories’ for the business across a wide range of pertinent topics
· To gather information and content for current & future use
· Researching topics from both internal and external sources of information
· To listen to, and interview colleagues/experts to garner insight and knowledge from which to build stories
· To liaise with colleagues to ensure content remains up to date and accurate
· To produce high quality written materials and visual content, normally in presentation format, for specific audiences and purposes.
· Ensuring presentations are compiled and designed to deliver specific objectives such as inform, educate, excite, compel, sell
· To determine & develop the most convincing approach/angle to deliver key messages with impact, actively identifying compelling arguments from various sources
· Crafting compelling narratives so the intended audience are engaged and understand the key messages
· To ensure content is well edited and concise, with consistency of writing style and tone versus guidelines
· To make presentations flow visually and tell the story with the careful selection of relevant photography, video clips, images, icons, diagrams
· To provide ‘key point scripts’ for each presentation to support the end user in the delivery of the presentation and ensure consistency of message
· To proofread and edit further before use/publication
· Design or work with designers to align written content and visual identity for each aspect of the business.
· To ensure that central blueprint presentations are regularly updated to reflect growth, changes or news within the business.
· Support the business by creating or revising style and tone guides and ensure these principles are consistently applied to all written content
· To develop new content ideas in line with the development of the business
· To work with the Strategy Director to ensure that developed presentations are consistently used as required in the business and not varied beyond sensible customer tailoring
· Edit and proofread written content produced by others in the business
· To adapt and transfer relevant content to the UK website
· To meet regular and multiple deadlines

Proven experience in content writing, written communications in fields such as journalism, marketing communications, public relations, corporate affairs. May have worked in publishing, media, newspapers, magazines, educational institutions, creative agencies, digital content agencies.
Experience in producing content for websites helpful, but not essential.
Degree educated, desirable but not essential
