- Developing clear content plans across all channels which are in line with the company brand and activities.
- Taking on and managing independent content generation projects end-to-end.
- Managing social media channels, and creating insightful images, videos, and captions. You will be responsible for staying up to date with social media trends, generating innovative ideas, and engaging with communities online.
- Writing, proofreading, and editing longer-prose content for online channels, such as articles, blogs and website content.
- Creating and distributing offline content. This may include internal materials, offline newsletters, collateral etc.
- Maintaining a consistent and accurate content tone of voice and brand image.
- Partnering with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to contribute to content pieces and campaigns, including agencies.
- Track the progress and success of content and campaigns in order to draw insight and optimise content plans.
- A graduate from university, ideally with a degree background in a written-based subject such as English or History, or a Marketing graduate with a heavy content focus.
- Experience creating, writing, and editing a variety of content. Ideally, this will be in a professional capacity, (through internships, placements, and work experience). If you have yet to secure professional marketing experience but have written for your student newspaper, been a social media secretary for a society, developed your own successful content channels or managed content projects in other ways - we still want to hear from you!
- Proven experience in copywriting.
- Demonstrable experience with social media content creation.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a high attention to detail and exemplary spelling and grammar.
- Design skills and experience with image and video editing software are highly beneficial.
- Data analysis skills are advantageous.
- Someone who is incredibly organised and can manage their schedule independently, especially when working on a variety of projects with different deadlines.
- A problem-solver and self-starter.
- A starting salary of £24,000 - £27,000 depending on experience.
