Copywriter - TEMP - Bristol/Birmingham/London

Location: Bristol, Birmingham, London - and hybrid

Start Date: Flexible - could start with a few hours in Nov/Dec

End date: 12 months - could be extended

Hours per week: Several hours each week (but number of hours will vary by week) - on-going

Pay Rate per hour: £46ph (Inside IR35)

Copywriter (employer branding and recruitment marketing)

You will be responsible for delivering specific projects and / or regular content - which will be agreed prior to appointment but may change during the course of the contract. You will develop a wide range of content to attract top talent; bringing experience and understanding of marketing and branding techniques, to create compelling content that showcases our culture and values and that is aligned to our brand and relevant messaging frameworks.

The work that the copywriter will be briefed on will also depend on their availability and where their skill set lies. Briefs could include some or all of the following areas:

Recruitment campaigns: develop engaging copy for tactical recruitment campaigns, including emails, website copy, and digital ads.

Social media: write captions for use across LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook to promote our employer brand.

Brand campaigns: collaborate on the conceptualisation of brand campaigns that can be deployed across multiple platforms, whether for the UK or globally.

Blog writing: Develop prompts for employee blog content, and work with employee-generated content to create authentic, engaging blog posts aligned with our tone and guidelines.

Brand consistency: Ensure consistency in our employer brand voice across all digital and social channels.

Agency collaboration: on occasion work with other agency partners to co-develop innovative, impactful campaigns

Skills and experience

Experience developing talent attraction marketing copy for use across multiple channels

Experience in copywriting for talent marketing, employer branding, and digital marketing

An understanding of employer branding and the impact it can have in shaping a diverse and inclusive organization - and as such experience in developing copy for a wide variety of different audiences, as well as a passion for ED&I

Experience in developing copy for social media campaigns

An understanding of developing copy that incorporates SEO principles and requirements

Creative thinker - ideally able to create and develop conceptual ideas

Ability to work to deadlines

Excellent attention to detail and demonstrable experience of working to brand guidelines

Experience of working with marketing agencies and other suppliers

Experience of using relevant tools to manage workflow and collaborate on a regular basis with the talent attraction team
