Quest Search & Selection are working with a fast-growing Londonn, B2B publishing house who are looking for a journalist to join their growing team.
This role is to help shape the content of their publication, focused on the latest news and trends across the creative, advertising and marketing sector. These stories include brand insights, the latest creative campaigns and digital innovations for companies and agencies alike!
The role of this Digital Journalist includes reporting on the daily news in regards to short-form reporting as well as working on long-form engaging features, interviews and listicles and also representing the company at industry events, attending agency events in the media and marketing sector.
Key Responsibilities of this Digital Journalist (Marketing, Creative & Advertising)position -
- New content creation/ stories throughout the day for digital news publication
- Writing and sub-editing of articles in property sector facing biggest challenges
- Drive maximize visibility through SEO strategies and social media
- Research news stories that would be of interest to target audience
- Constant update on national marketing & creative news that would be interested to their decision making, B2B customer base
- Build relationships and networking with senior business leaders though interviews and events.
- Comply with industry and ethical guidelines
Requirements for this Digital Journalist (Marketing, Creative & Advertising) position -
- 1-2 years + of journalism experience and a portfolio of published articles
- Experience of trade or B2B journalism
- Ideally have written in the marketing, creative, advertising or media space but is not essential
- Excellent writing, editing, grammatical and proof-reading skills
- Accuracy and eye to detail
- Ability to work independently and enthusiastically as part of a wider team of journalists
- Research using multiple sources
- That you have Google Analytics, WordPress, SEO techniques & skillset.
