KEY ACCOUNT BID WRITER EMEA

The Opportunity

We are an international cleaning, security and soft services business with a growing EMEA team working across 21 countries. The Key Account Bid Writer EMEA will take overall responsibility for the coordination, writing and distribution of bids across EMEA under the direction of the Tier 2 (Business through a 3rd party) Key Account Director and with the support of the Key Account Bid Coordinator.

The Role of the Key Account Bid Writer EMEA

  • Support the team remotely across EMEA by assisting with management of procurement portals, analysis of tenders and deadlines.
  • Support the Key Account Management team, working closely with the Key Account Bid Coordinator to ensure all accurate information is sent out to EMEA Colleagues.
  • Produce written responses for PQQs and tenders as required including references, case studies and associated documents, coordinating with bid Teams across 21+ Countries in EMEA.
  • Organising, coordinating tender "kick off" meetings.
  • Ensure ownership of all bids/tender's questions ensuring all questions are answered by liaising with Country Bid Teams and Client Sourcing Teams and signing off on final content.
  • To proof-read and appraise tender/proposal submissions, to add and edit information as necessary, to structure an effective, uniform response/presentation. Ensure each tender/proposal is precisely produced, based on the instruction from the Key Account Manager/Director.
  • Managing the various calendars for upcoming bids, bid submission dates, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Be Gate keeper/first line on all bids and ensure all information is distributed correctly and appropriately.
  • Receive and deal with enquiries from the Client Sourcing Team, as well as internal Colleagues across EMEA concerning tenders/proposals, both current and historically.
  • Proactive and reactive communication with clients and internal key stakeholders relating to all bids.
  • Own the Bid Process by reviewing submitted bids and providing formal feedback to internal Colleagues across EMEA.

The Person

Essential

  • Bid/Tender coordination and writing experience
  • Intermediate ability with Microsoft packages particularly PPT and excel
  • Excellence in written English/native speaker
  • Attention to detail is an important prerequisite for this role.
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Able to work autonomously / using own initiative
