Quest Search & Selection are working with a fast-growing B2B publishing house who are looking for a journalist to join their growing team.

This role is to help shape the content of their publication, focused on the latest news and trends across the marketing & creative sector. These stories include brand insights, the latest campaigns and digital innovations for companies and agencies alike!

The role of journalist includes making good news story engaging features, representing the company at industry events, attending new agency events, and interviewing senior leaders in the creative and marketing sector.

Key Responsibilities of this Journalist - B2B (Marketing & Advertising):

  • New content creation/ stories throughout the day for digital news publication
  • Writing and sub-editing of articles in marketing sector facing biggest challenges
  • Drive maximize visibility through SEO strategies and social media
  • Research news stories that would be of interest to target audience
  • Constant update on global news
  • Build relationships and networking with senior business leaders though interviews and events.
  • Comply with industry and ethical guidelines

Requirements for this Journalist - B2B (Marketing & Advertising):

  • 1-2 years + of journalism experience and a portfolio of published articles
  • Experience of trade or B2B journalism
  • Ideally have written in the marketing, creative, advertising or media space
  • Excellent writing, editing, grammatical and proof-reading skills
  • Accuracy and eye to detail
  • Ability to work independently and enthusiastically as part of a wider team of journalists
  • Research using multiple sources
  • Google Analytics, WordPress, SEO techniques is desirable
