Account Manager – NO SALES

Basic c£30,000 plus Team bonus
Hours 9-5.30pm
One of our best clients, an award winning market leader working with a number of household names, is experiencing continued growth in their business and are seeking an experience Account Manager. Their offices are friendly and welcoming, with the team having a small family feel to it, and everyone works together for one common goal. They enjoy socialising with one another and go for drinks at least once a month.
The role is extremely varied, busy and challenging as you will be working in a business unit which covers accounts in the UK, Europe and the US.
As an Account Manager you will provide both customer sales support and undertake vital tasks including stock management, sales order processing and organising order fulfilment. In addition, the Account Managers support both customers and field sales executives on business development through providing and co-ordinating quotations and samples for clients. The role requires a significant amount of communication with both customers and colleagues verbally and in writing. The account manager being the main point of contact for significant customers.
Being the main point of contact for the client accounts that you look after you will be liaising across the different business units, including design, artwork, finance and production chasing various samples and quotes and project managing delivery schedules.
Candidates should:• Be an experienced B2B customer service executive• Good communicator• Strong attention to detail needed for coordinating in a timely manner• Solid numerical abilities and familiarity with Excel• Good organiser who is able to manage their own workload and prioritise their tasks• After initial training be able to work without supervision• The candidate would enjoy working as a team member and supporting other colleagues• Assertive individual capable of taking a balanced approach with customers• Knowledge of food retail sector or packaging would be an advantage packaging industry would be advantageous, but training would be given
