Account Manager - Aesthetics / London / £55000 - £60000 per annum

12 month Maternity Cover Contract

Launch a physician-dispensed skincare brand in your territory (London and the Home Counties) by building and developing an account base of new medical aesthetic accounts. Build long-term relationships and execute the commercial plans of the brand to achieve and exceed defined revenue, growth, and promotional objectives while ensuring that brand awareness and all commercial opportunities are maximised.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Win new business and open new accounts
  • Act as a business consultant, establishing and implementing business plans for growth and carrying out regular business reviews, identifying client needs.
  • Establish barriers to entry from competitors.
  • Achieve targets set by the Regional Business Manager / Head of Sales.
  • Tailor and deliver education plans in accounts.
  • Implement marketing activity in accounts.
  • Identify opportunities for increasing business.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to client requests.
  • Ensure customer files are maintained. Complete all required administration in a timely and accurate manner, including updating client information.
  • Develop key opinion leaders in your area.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the marketplace, brands, and customers to ensure effective market intelligence.
  • Network with colleagues across the Aesthetics Business Unit to share best practices.
  • Support inductions for new colleagues.

Ideal Person:

Technical Skills:

  • Degree level education.
  • Commercial education, e.g., business, economics, administration preferable.
  • ABPI qualification or commitment to become ABPI qualified within 2 years of joining the organisation.

Key Skills / Experience:

  • Self-motivator and autonomous with strong planning skills to maximize time in the field to achieve KPIs.
  • Strong network of medical contacts within aesthetic clinics.
  • Passionate about the aesthetics industry and always ahead of the game with industry trends and innovation.
  • A proven track record of growing business by winning new accounts and developing existing accounts and achieving KPIs and targets.
  • Commercial acumen supported by excellent negotiation skills.
  • Ability to cultivate, maintain, and build professional relationships with KOLs and clinic owners.
  • Appreciation of the diverse roles within a private clinic and the role each plays in the decision-making process.
  • Ability to plan and execute hands-on training events compliantly and to a high quality.
  • Experience working in the aesthetics sector and/or dermatology (desired).
  • The ability to listen and interact effectively with different interpersonal styles, communicating clearly and concisely.
  • A full driving license is essential for the position.

  • Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Negotiation in complex situations.
  • Networking / Relationship Management.
  • Cross-functional ways of working internally and externally.
