Overview
An exciting role selling across a diverse portfolio, we are looking for an exceptional candidate who is comfortable selling many products to a variety of clients. This role comes with a large database of clients so the ability to prioritise and develop innovative ways to cover all clients - and meet their needs - is crucial. From key accounts to those that have not yet been fully developed, we are looking for a committed person to join the team to increase the number of active clients, their average order value, and increase the number of products that they are using. Whilst achieving all of this, we also want to offer really high levels of customer service and develop strong relationships.
The role will demand both telephone contact and face-to-face meetings.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities
- Build number of customers across the portfolio
- Maintain and develop existing active accounts and build strong relationships with key decision makers
- Maximise opportunities from all incoming business
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail
- Responsible for hitting all personal targets and forecasting
- Canvas customers from other publications, exhibitions, social media, online etc
- Record all conversations, emails etc on CRM system
- Send strong proposals/emails in a timely and well written way
- Build market/client knowledge quickly

Experience required
- Ideally three year’s sales experience
- An understanding of B2B media would be useful but not essential
- A track record of success
- A blend of exhibition, print and online experience would be beneficial but not critical
