Job DescriptionContent Specialist London based with three days in the Standon House office (Tues + Wed + Thurs) Monday and Friday from Home.We are looking for a focused, self-motivated, experienced content marketeer, with a passion for planning and creating dynamic content, to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in writing and optimising email copy and have a proven track record of managing and producing content, for both B2C and B2B audiences.You will be responsible for identifying potential gaps in our communications and creating, improving, and maintaining content online and offline, across multiple channels, to help achieve our business goals.Our content needs to work across multi-channels, multi-brands, and multi-disciplines within our business that all need to drive customer engagement and lead to generate business opportunities for us - whether that is direct to a local estate agents branch or driving traffic to our website.Duties include:
  • Crafting engaging copy: write clear, informative, and engaging copy for various online and offline channels, with a focus on email copy.
  • Adapting your writing style to connect with different target audiences.
  • Identify potential topics of interest relevant to our target audiences.
  • Having a good grasp of branding and what goes into creating a trusted brand.
  • Picking up ad-hoc tasks for the wider content team and turning them around quickly.
  • Having good attention to detail – you’ll ensure the content created is factually correct and of value to the audience.
  • Ensuring accuracy, consistency, and impeccable grammar in all written materials.
  • Ability to conduct research and stay up to date with content trends.
  • Building and maintaining relationships internally across the business.
  • Stakeholder management: balancing competing deadlines and projects across the multiple divisions within Connells Group and liaising with internal stakeholders to deliver requested communications projects.
Requirements and Skills:
  • Experience: Minimum of two years in content with some experience in email.
  • Copywriting skills: Proven ability to create high-quality, engaging content.
  • Language proficiency: Strong command of English.
  • Research and analytical skills: Dig deep to uncover compelling stories.
  • Creativity: Bring fresh ideas and a unique perspective.
  • Attention to detail: Meticulously proofread and edit your work.
  • Effective communication: Collaborate seamlessly with team members.
Desirables:
  • Copywriting experience for email marketing.
  • Experience of working within a multi-brand environment would be advantageous.
  • Experience of dealing with content that requires compliance approval.
  • An understanding of SEO.
