The Key Account Manager will build and nurture long-term partnerships with key clients, ensuring their success while driving business growth. In this role, you'll play a strategic part in shaping client relationships, collaborating across teams, and uncovering new opportunities to maximise revenue.

Key Account Manager Job Overview
  • Serve as the primary contact for key accounts, ensuring satisfaction and proactively addressing needs.
  • Develop tailored growth strategies to identify opportunities and drive organic expansion.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customised solutions that align with client goals.
  • Lead the preparation and submission of tenders and bids, maintaining records for future use.
  • Provide weekly pipeline forecasts to the Regional Sales Manager, tracking opportunities and revenue projections.
  • Maintain comprehensive client records in the CRM.
  • Support clients through the bid process, leveraging relationships to secure contracts.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, market shifts, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Partner with other teams to ensure seamless client experiences ensuring , deadlines, and service commitments.
  • Follow up on returned quotes to gather feedback and enhance future proposals.
  • Attend client meetings, actively engaging in discussions and strengthening relationships.
Key Account Manager Job Requirements
  • Previous Sales or Account management experience
  • Experience of the Construction or Civil Engineering sector
  • Previous use of a CRM system
  • Knowledge of Quality Submissions
  • Ability to research trend and market data
  • Experience of the BID Management process
  • Organised with Project Management skills
  • Excellent Microsoft office experience
  • Full UK Driving Licence
