- Business Development: identify new sales opportunities within the existing and growing account base, leveraging market research and industry/sector insights.
- Client Relationship Management: build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with key-decision makers and stakeholders within your client base.
- Develop & execute strategic account plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
- Solution Selling: act as a trusted advisor and consultant to clients, understanding customer needs, and challenges, to propose bespoke solutions that align with their goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams & external partners/vendors; leading client presentations, producing contracts & proposals, with the goal of closing deals.
- Market Research: stay informed about industry trends, market updates, and competitor activity and leverage this insight to optimise and improve customer experience and client retention.
- Provide insights and feedback to influence product development and marketing strategies.
- Performance Metrics: meet / exceed sales targets and KPIs, including customer retention, account penetration, and revenue growth.
- Ensure all sales activity and account information is consistently and accurately recorded with thin the internal CRM system.
- 2+ years’ experience within a B2B Sales or target-driven Account Manager role is essential.
- Experience working with, or selling into the Media & Entertainment industry is essential.
- Experience working within an IT Reseller, VAR, or technology business is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Natural ability to influence key-stakeholders, and confidence in negation & presenting.
- Self-motivated and positive character, with a results-oriented mindset and track record of meeting/exceeding targets.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft suite, and CRM software.
