Our client, an incredibly established Delivery/Logistics business, are looking to recruit an experienced Leader to oversee their Customer Service/Operations/Courier team(s) (40 FTE). Working in a fantastic Central London location, this is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate!Our client have been established for close to 30 years and are one of the UK's leading Logistics/Delivery networks, offering services both across the UK and internationally on a 24/7 basis. Due to internal movement/promotion(s), they are actively seeking the perfect candidate to oversee their incredibly busy London operation, reporting directly to their Head of UK Service. In a nutshell, your responsibilities will include:- Overseeing entire London Service Centre operation (40 FTE), consisting of Customer Services/Operations/Couriers- Managing, supporting and mentoring team(s) to develop a strong/passionate/successful operation- Reviewing/managing operational requirements through peak periods- Recruiting/scaling team(s) when required- Delivering operational excellence through budget management, operational efficiencies, new business implementation and existing customer retention- Delivering key strategic objectives whilst maintaining and delivering SLA's- Reviewing operational stats to identify potential efficiencies and improved productivity- Building positive key customer relationships / proactively supporting Account Management team(s)In order to be considered for this position, it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following:- Extensive experience of leading high-performing team(s) within an Operations/Logistics business (customer-focused team(s))- Proven success in managing and exceeding budget targets- Experience of developing team members through coaching- Fun, sociable personalityIn addition to a very competitive basic salary, our client are also offering the following:- 15-20% annual bonus (performance-related)- Fantastic Central London location- Great working hours (Monday - Friday: 9.00am - 5.30pm)- Amazing progression opportunitiesOur client are looking to move incredibly quickly on this, so any interested candidate(s) are urged to apply at their earliest convenience!
