- Providing a visible management presence while on duty

- To fully understand the operation of the fire panel and how to deal with activations in all situations
- Reports all maintenance requirements and hazards in the workplace
- Be familiar with the Hotel and Team Member Accommodation Fire Procedure and respond accordingly
- Deal with disorderly guests, suspicious persons, undesirables, as necessary, including eviction from premises if appropriate
- Support processes to ensure the delivery and maintenance of a positive safety culture
- Support and carry out the necessary risk assessment on companies holding functions at the hotel ensuring that they hold to relevant paperwork to install any particular equipment
- Fulfills any other duties when providing relief cover to the Security department
- Participate in the leadership activity of the hotel
- Be flexible in assisting around the Hotel in response to business and guest needs
