The Royal Garden Hotel is looking for a Duty Manager to join our team.

The Duty Manager is ensure our guests have an incredible experience during their time at the hotel by supporting the operational departments in the delivery of their duties. As a key representative of the hotel, the Duty Manager is responsible for working with colleagues, planning and organizing to ensure excellent guest service standards. You will act as a Manager on Duty and be a point of contact for any issues or guest enquiries should they arise.

The key responsibilities of theDuty Managerinclude:
  • Providing a visible management presence while on duty
  • Supports operational teams and Heads of Department with guest complaints
  • To fully understand the operation of the fire panel and how to deal with activations in all situations
  • Reports all maintenance requirements and hazards in the workplace
  • Be familiar with the Hotel and Team Member Accommodation Fire Procedure and respond accordingly
  • Deal with disorderly guests, suspicious persons, undesirables, as necessary, including eviction from premises if appropriate
  • Support processes to ensure the delivery and maintenance of a positive safety culture
  • Support and carry out the necessary risk assessment on companies holding functions at the hotel ensuring that they hold to relevant paperwork to install any particular equipment
  • Fulfills any other duties when providing relief cover to the Security department
  • Participate in the leadership activity of the hotel
  • Be flexible in assisting around the Hotel in response to business and guest needs
