Our client is seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager with a focus on Foreign Exchange, Derivatives and Metals. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic team in the heart of London. What you'll do:
You will be responsible for managing daily operations, being the first line of support for allocation, fixings, confirmation, settlements & reconciliation. Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and developing strategies to improve operational efficiency. You will coordinate with various teams to ensure smooth functioning of operations. Monitoring market trends and making recommendations based on your analysis will also be part of your role. Furthermore, you will handle risk management and mitigation strategies.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in managing derivative operations and strong FX & Metals knowledge. Your analytical skills will enable you to make data-driven decisions. A deep understanding of regulatory requirements in the financial sector is essential, predominantly in MiFID. Your ability to develop effective operational strategies will be key to your success in this role. Experience in risk management is also required.
