- Several years of experience working as technical animation in the videogame industry (doesn’t have to be Triple AAA)
- Unreal Engine experience
- Experience in Animation blueprints (Locomotion)
- Demonstrable experience in the development of locomotion and character control systems
- Proved ability to work on engine animation blueprints including overlaying, IK, control rigs or similar technologies.
- To have completed at least one full game development cycle
- Demonstrated good collaboration skills.
- Demonstrable ability in the use of revision control software
- Work with design and engineers to understand and implement gameplay animation features.
- Support engineers and game teams to fix game issues, troubleshooting animation graphs and artwork.
- Be aware of the performance issues and be responsible for performance improvements.
- Participate in R&D into emerging animation technologies.
- Advise and create tools to improve workflows and asset quality.

- Knowledge of 3D maths and creative problem-solving skills
- Programming or scripting skills
- Experience with motion matching and other data driven systems
