Key Responsibilities for the Quantitative Researcher:


  • Collaborate with quantitative researchers, traders, and developers to create and implement quantitative trading strategies.
  • Utilise data analysis skills to build mid-frequency predictive models and apply portfolio optimisation techniques for multi-asset portfolios.
  • Oversee production performance, analyse production data, and develop metrics to understand behaviour, feeding insights back into the research process.


?? The Quantitative Researcher will have:


  • An advanced degree in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Medium Frequency Alpha
  • Demonstrated expertise in conducting innovative research that addresses real-world challenges.
  • The ability to make informed decisions on research direction, balancing potential impact with the likelihood of success.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in programming, with a preference for Java or Python.
  • Excellent communication skills for problem-solving and conveying technical concepts.
  • The capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in developing systematic futures trading models, ideally within a technology-driven proprietary trading environment.


The Quantitative Research will be required to travel to the client's office, close to St Pauls tube station, 5 days per week with 1 day flexibility after probation.
