Position: Assistant tester/Electricial engineer
Location: Multiple sites across London
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: 7.30am - 5.30pm
About the Role:We are currently seeking an electrician to join our team on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for working alongside an senior electrician testing, installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on various sites across London in the temporary services field.
Key Responsibilities:- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard.
- Adhere to electrical safety standards and regulations, ensuring all installations comply with relevant codes and guidelines.
- Work efficiently and professionally across multiple sites, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest quality.
- Work closely with other electricians and site supervisors to ensure all work is coordinated and completed according to project specifications.
- Prioritize safety at all times, ensuring personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn and all safety protocols are followed on-site.
- Must hold a valid ECS Gold Card.
- Minimum 1-2 years experience working in temporary site services, with hands-on knowledge of electrical installations, testing, and maintenance.
- Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in electrical installations.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Ideally, experience with inspection and testing (2391 or equivalent).
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and previous test/inspect experience.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
