BMS Commissioning Engineer

About the Role
My client is looking for an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer to join the team on their project in Kensington, London. You will be responsible for commissioning BMS systems that utilize Tridium Niagara software.
The new project includes the redevelopment of historic exhibition halls, along with new offices, a cinema, a 4,000-seat music venue, a 1,500-seat theatre, hotels, retail outlets, and public spaces. This will be delivered while ensuring the exhibition areas remain operational.

Role Overview
- Work as part of the project delivery team, reporting to the BEMS Project Manager
- Read and interpret the BMS scope and its interaction with M&E specifications
- Develop essential project documents such as:
- Schedule of Deliverables
- Interface Matrix
- Network Architecture Drawings
- Functional Design Specifications
- Points Schedules
- Technical submittals
- RFIs
- Issue design information to panel manufacturers and review wiring diagrams
- Manage and oversee BEMS software and graphics production
- Assist in commissioning, point-to-point testing, and commissioning control panels
- Ensure project handover documentation is prepared and completed
- Deliver fully operational BEMS Systems
- Adhere to Health & Safety and company policies

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification (full electrical apprenticeship or equivalent)
- Proven track record in delivering BEMS systems
- Experience with Tridium Niagara
- Strong technical knowledge of BEMS
- Experience working with BACnet and/or Modbus
