The Opportunity
We are seeking a Technical Engineer to cover London and the M25 corridor providing expert technical support, site inspections and training for our cutting-edge roofing solutions. With a legacy of over 100 years we are a trusted leader in roofing, waterproofing and insulation, committed to excellence and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site inspections and monitor installations to ensure compliance with company specifications
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for roofing contractors and clients
- Assist with project sign-offs, guaranteeing quality workmanship and compliance
- Deliver training and assessments for system installers
- Investigate and resolve complaints, producing detailed technical reports
- Collaborate with sales, technical and marketing teams on product development and innovation.
Key Skills/Experience
- Extensive industry experience in bitumen felt, single ply, and built-up roofing systems
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise professionally at all levels
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
