Complete Security Recruitment are currently looking for an ambitious and talented Installation & Commissioning Engineer to join our highly successful team in London. You will be given the unique opportunity to develop your career with us in this newly created role with the potential opportunity to move into a more senior lead role as you gain more experience and demonstrate your talents. You will oversee the installation and commissioning of fire detection systems for our clients, delivering a high-quality service to our customers.  
  • System Design: Ensure that through the installation and commissioning process, works undertaken are compliant with all relevant guidelines and British Standards, including internal best practice methods. A good level of understanding of BS5839-1 is required for this role, along with experience in the application of different types of fire detection equipment, across various system protocols.
  • Installation: Execute the installation fire detection systems (or modifications to existing), including wired devices of both addressable and conventional types, aspirating detection, beam detection and linear heat detection. Install hardware, cabling, and peripherals according to project specifications and safety guidelines.
  • Integration: Integrate fire detection systems into existing infrastructure or site systems, for example Tenant-Landlord fire system signaling links and interfacing to 3rdparty equipment. A good understanding of fire detection graphics systems is desirable but not essential, with manufacturer training provided.
