We are looking for Freelance Senior M&E QS's to work with a leading & ever-expanding MEP contractor, with the schemes comprising of Office and Residential blocks - both sites being in walking distance of London Bridge.
Pay rates range up to 450/day depending on experience, immediate start available - contract being indefinite.
Responsibilities for Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor
- Feasibility, Price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project.
- Preparing tender documents, contracts, budgets & bills of quantities.
- Liaising with clients & contractors to ensure the budget requirements are met.
- Managing cashflow for large MEP packages throughout delivery.
- Compiling and issuing commercial reports to the project leadership team for CVR's
- Preparing forecasts and reports on financial status and cash flow.
- Ensuring that the month on month cash position is positive and the forecasted project margin is met or exceeded.
Requirements for Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor
- Experience with commercially managing high value M&E projects.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office, Excel skills being a must.
- Knowledge of tender processes and have experience in handling contracts and legal issues.
- Experience of M&E Quantity Surveying and financial knowledge of construction costs.
- An understanding of contracts and the tender process as well as being able to read drawings and understand contracts.
