The Senior Structural Engineer will be part of a highly skilled and collaborative team, working on a diverse range of landmark projects that push the boundaries of design and sustainability. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of projects from conception through to completion, working closely with architects, contractors, and clients to deliver innovative structural solutions.

The Senior Structural Engineer will:

  • Take ownership of structural engineering designs, ensuring innovative, efficient, and sustainable solutions are delivered to meet client and project requirements.
  • Oversee projects from concept through to completion, managing budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
  • Work closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to provide integrated design solutions while maintaining clear and effective communication.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians, fostering their professional development and maintaining high technical standards across the team.
  • Conduct detailed reviews of designs and calculations, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, with a proven track record of working on diverse projects, including commercial and residential developments.
  • Strong knowledge of structural design across various materials (steel, concrete, timber, masonry) and expertise in industry-standard softwares.
  • Working towards or holding chartership with IStructE or ICE, demonstrating commitment to professional excellence.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively with clients, architects, and contractors, and lead collaborative discussions to achieve project goals.
