Well established, award winning and highly accredited medium sized multi disciplinary property consultancy with approx. 60 staff have recently established a structural design division. The firm pride themselves on contemporary thinking with a collaborative, approachable and entrepreneurial ethos.

To work alongside the highly accomplished Chartered Head of Structures, this position is a key hire for the next person to join the growing structures division. There are plans to expand this team to around 10 staff and this new hire will be a key player in the development of the division - an exciting opportunity!

The work from the building surveying and property side of the business is plentiful and secure, and standalone structural clients are also already on board.

This role would suit a candidate with several years of varied buildings design experience, who is a versatile individual and happy to be involved in all aspects of design work as well as networking, invoicing and business growth. The role will include hands on design, visits to site, condition surveys, reports and appraisals. If you are not already Chartered, the Head of Engineering can provide excellent support for this as a practiced mentor.

The office is a social, supportive, flexible and friendly environment where everyone takes responsibility and is responsible for their own invoicing and buying into the growth of the practice. Hybrid working is embraced.

Project examples include refurbishment of a Knightsbridge based retail unit involving strengthening works, and a 2 storey addition to a Grade 2 listed manor house including basement.
