We are currently seeking a Senior SISS Design Engineer for a major rail infrastructure project in West London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing Station Information and Surveillance Systems (SISS) including CCTV, Public Address (PA) systems, Customer Information Systems (CIS), Access Control, and Network configurations.
- Contributing to both GRIP 5 and some GRIP 4 design stages.
- Ensuring all designs meet the required standards and specifications for rail communications.
- Collaborating with project teams to integrate designs seamlessly into the existing infrastructure.
- Providing technical support and expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintaining and updating design documentation as required.
- Participating in design reviews and addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
Job Requirements:
- Extensive experience in SISS design within the rail communications sector.
- A comprehensive understanding of GRIP 4 and GRIP 5 design processes.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing CCTV, PA systems, CIS, Access Control, and Network configurations.
- Strong technical skills in telecoms and SISS design engineering.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work effectively within a project team.
- Exceptional communication skills for collaboration and reporting.
- Relevant engineering qualifications or equivalent experience in the rail communications field.
