Technical On Site Architect for London Team
Location: London
Permanent position, with some Hybrid WFH

At Eden Brown, we are excited to partner with a leading architectural practice seeking a Senior Architect to work as a Technical Lead on site. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated individual to work on high-profile UK housing and mixed use projects in a collaborative, design-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities for this role will be to:

- Attend sites regularly to provide technical guidance, resolve queries, and ensure quality control.
- Be a proactive member of weekly on-site Design Team Meetings and workshops, working closely with structural engineers, M&E subcontractors, and site inspectors.
- Offer creative and practical solutions to construction challenges as they arise.
- Deliver fully detailed construction packages to meet Building Regulation approvals.
- Leverage your expertise in High-Risk Building projects to ensure design excellence and compliance.
- Take ownership of project leadership, including resource and financial management.
- Oversee contract administration and conduct progress inspections during construction.
- Contribute technical or design information within agreed timeframes while maintaining studio standards.
- Stay informed on current technical advancements and legislation, ensuring compliance and innovation.
- Support and report to senior leadership (Associate Director, Director, or Partner) within a collaborative project team.
- Participate in regular site visits and team meetings, offering technical insights and ensuring project alignment.

What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in architectural project delivery, especially within High-Risk Building environments.
- Strong technical design skills with a commitment to maintaining studio quality standards.
- Ability to adapt and provide alternative solutions to construction challenges efficiently.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, including experience managing resources and project budgets.
- A proactive approach to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and staying abreast of industry trends.
