Architect Job in Islington, London

An Architect job is now available with a boutique architecture practice specialising in high-end private residential projects in Islington, North London. This role focuses on RIBA Stages 4-7, requiring strong technical delivery and contract administration experience.

This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded studio that takes a unique, client-focused approach to design. Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance across RIBA Stages 0-3
  • Produce tender and construction packages, including drawings, schedules, and specifications
  • Coordinate inputs from external consultants and the internal team
  • Manage tender processes, documentation, and analysis in collaboration with Quantity Surveyors
  • Conduct site inspections, liaise with contractors, and manage RFIs
  • Administer JCT contracts, including issuing instructions, certificates, and other related documentation
  • Ensure projects comply with UK Building Regulations and best practice standards.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years of UK experience in high-end residential projects
  • Strong technical design and detailing skills, with a focus on BIM workflows
  • Proven experience delivering projects through RIBA Stages 4-7
  • Experience in contract administration, particularly JCT contracts
  • Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations
  • Proficiency in ArchiCAD (or strong Revit users willing to self-train)
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (visa sponsorship considered for strong candidates).
