Jacket Piling T&I Engineer required for a major offshore wind developer based in England
Responsibilities
- Report to the T&I JKT Lead Engineer in the technical management of the JKT T&I scope;
- Support the T&I WPM and Deputy WPM in the technical management of the JKT T&I scope;
- Actively integrate a multi-discipline team in a multi-culture and multi-company environment (Joint Venture);
- Be responsible for the safe and efficient technical execution of the JKT T&I works, with particular focus on the piling scopes and potential relief drilling;
- Ensure that the JKT T&I contractor technically execute the works as per the quality standards set up within the Projects
- Interface closely with the EPC work packages, as well as defining the T&I Contractor requirements and planning
- Efficiently interface with all other technical work packages (OSP, WTG, IAC, GEO, etc.) as well as other internal stakeholders regarding the JKT scope specific requirements. Demonstrable interface management during project design phases is essential;
- Work directly with the relevant work stream managers for our projects to review the setup for installation in conjunction with the programme, the consenting application and discharge, and the HSE UK regulations;
- Provide valuable input in the evaluation and costing of development and execution projects (CAPEX) and will take over the preparation of tender documents;
Requirements
- A master's degree or the equivalent in engineering or industrial engineering;
- A proven 10 years track record in working with/in cross-functional teams in offshore projects and high confidence with effective stakeholder management.
- A good understanding and working knowledge of large-scale energy projects in the offshore energy sector, preferably in Offshore Wind;
- Your knowledge on JKT related scopes and required operations are essential, including JKT T&I
- Particular knowledge in piling scopes including soil assessment with practical experience executing such scopes, experience with relief drilling is a plus;
- You have practical experience in marine logistics, especially transport and installation of heavy structures for offshore projects;
- Offshore trips and support will be a requirement.
