Our Client is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Junior Interior Designer to join their expanding team in Central London.
You will be joining an international design studio in London, specialising in sophisticated, high-end hospitality projects across the UK and Europe.
The role would suite a creative designer capable of supporting projects from initial concept through to completion. You demonstrate strong design sensibilities, confident design skills, and technical understanding of FF&E, materials, and finishes. You’ll collaborate directly with senior & mid-weight designers, contributing innovative ideas and ensuring design excellence.
Key Skills & Experience:
• Strong creative skills with the ability to assist in producing compelling concept designs, presentations, and visualisations.
• Solid understanding of FF&E selection specifically for 4- and 5-star hospitality interiors.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD LT and SketchUp demonstrating how you use these skills to produce design deliverables
• Knowledge of Revit is advantageous but not necessary.
• Competent in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) for creating presentations and project documentation.
• Experience developing FF&E specifications, including control books, materials, finishes, lighting, and sanitary schedules.
• Effective time management skills, ensuring projects progress efficiently within deadlines.
• Experience liaising with suppliers and contractors.
• Communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Fluent Italian language skills are beneficial but not required.
Role & Responsibilities:
• Collaborate closely with the design team on hotel and restaurant projects, engaging directly with client briefs and providing creative solutions.
• Assist in developing design concepts, preparing mood boards, sample boards, and detailed design proposals.
• Select FF&E and materials aligned with project objectives.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation including control books, schedules, and presentations for client review and procurement.
• Occasional travel to European project sites as necessary.
• Uphold the highest quality standards, ensuring alignment with client expectations and brand guidelines.
