- The Value Stream (VS) Domain Architect leads the architecture for the Value Stream, focusing on long-term strategy and ensuring cohesive solutions align with enterprise standards and bank-wide strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define the architectural vision and strategy for the domain, aligned with the bank's broader goals.
- Ensure solutions integrate seamlessly with the enterprise architecture.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address domain-specific needs.
- Advocate for changes to align with architectural standards and guardrails.
- Support and guide solution architects to deliver the strategic direction.
- Research emerging technologies to drive innovation.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
- Optimize domain technologies for scalability and reliability.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Oversee project governance, ensuring adherence to architectural principles.
- Define future platforms and application states within the domain.
- Deliver key architectural deliverables (IRDs, ADRs, HLDs).
- Support Architecture Chapters in defining standards and strategies during transitions.
- Engage with Architecture Chapters when solutions deviate from guardrails.
