VOX Consultants are currently looking for an M365 Architect for my council client to lead a multi-disciplined end user team creating and implementing plans to ensure continuousimprovements. The role will focus on managing the aspects of the server infrastructure and system integration across platforms such as SaaS, on-prem and Azure. This is an initial 3 month contract, paying around 400/day (Inside IR35) and is remote. Council or public sector experience is preferred.
Key Skills
  • Lead the Systems Team and manage the individuals operationally and developmentally to ensure a resilient and high-quality agile service.
  • Manage temporary staff, consultants, contractors and suppliers as required to deliver projects and programmes.
  • Responsible for the entire M365 and Azure tenancy.
  • Work closely with the Enterprise Architect to determine the technology strategy and take responsibility for implementing that strategy to achieve efficiency'sand savings across the council.
  • Work closely with the IT Security Manger to identify best practice security controls and take responsibility for implementing those controls across the user and server estate.
  • Work closely with the Network and Telephony Manager to design best practicable solutions and take responsibility for implementing changes as required across servers and systems to implement the design.
