We are looking for a dynamic professional to join our team in London and play a key role in managing and overseeing pre-construction activities, ensuring successful project delivery from the early stages.
As a Pre-Construction Manager, you will be responsible for leading the pre-construction phase of projects, working closely with clients, design teams, and internal stakeholders. Your estimating expertise will be essential in preparing accurate cost estimates, value engineering, and ensuring competitive pricing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the pre-construction process, from initial enquiry to contract award.
- Lead estimating functions, including cost planning, tender submissions, and pricing strategies.
- Work closely with design, commercial, and project delivery teams to ensure project feasibility.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Identify value engineering opportunities to improve cost efficiency.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Pre-Construction Manager or Senior Estimator in the construction industry.
- Strong background in estimating, cost planning, and bid management.
- Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and procurement processes.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in estimating software, Bluebeam, Auto Cad, Microsoft Office and Asta.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
