Our client, a globally renowned design and architecture studio, is seeking a Project Manager with a strong architectural background to join their team and lead one-of-a-kind international projects. About the Role:

As a Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of managing unique and highly creative architectural projects, collaborating with world-class designers and engineers. The role will require overseeing the full project lifecycle, from concept to completion, ensuring the seamless delivery of designs that redefine architecture and urban design on a global scale.

You will be responsible for managing the relationships between clients, contractors, and design teams, ensuring that all aspects of the project meet the highest quality standards, stay on schedule, and are delivered within budget. Your expertise in design management, stakeholder coordination, and your ability to drive complex architectural projects to success will be key.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of bespoke international projects, from the initial design phase through to completion.
  • Manage multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and external consultants, ensuring alignment on project goals.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and senior leadership, fostering strong relationships and providing regular project updates.
  • Oversee all aspects of the project, including budget control, schedule management, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Champion design excellence, ensuring that the studio’s vision and the client's aspirations are fully realized.
  • Resolve design and technical challenges, ensuring smooth project progress while maintaining a focus on creativity and innovation.
  • Manage risk assessments, contract administration, and project documentation to ensure quality and governance standards are met.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Architecture or a related field, with RIBA Part 2 or 3 qualifications preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within a leading architecture or design firm.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering high-profile, one-off architectural projects or international developments.
  • Strong understanding of the design process, with the ability to balance creativity with practical project management.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively between multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience working on projects involving complex structures and innovative design solutions.
  • A proactive problem solver with a keen eye for detail and a passion for architecture and design.
