With projects typically ranging in value from 1-10 million, this role will suit a designer with a technical background and a strong track record working in the luxury sector.
Specialising predominantly within the super prime residential sector, the practice has an extensive portfolio of luxury projects, including properties in Chelsea, Knightsbridge, Kensington, and Belgravia, as well as overseas. Having currently secured some new residential and hospitality projects, they are now looking for an experienced Interior Architect to join their interiors team of 17 on a fixed-term contract with the view to become permanent.
Role & Responsibilities
- Developing designs from original brief through to completion
- Producing mood presentations using images/sketches/ samples etc to best communicate ideas and suggestions
- Producing technical drawings including plans, bespoke joinery, sections, elevations and details
- Understanding and producing architectural and FF&E drawings, schedules and specifications
- Coordinating and communicating well when dealing with other consultants and suppliers
- Attending client meetings in a confident and professional manner
- Attending site, factory and supplier visits.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5 years' minimum experience within high-end residential/hotel design
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to adapt and respond to a clients' changing requirements
- Demonstrate good understanding of materials and construction techniques
- Confident working autonomously and showing a proactive attitude
- Communicate effectively with team members internally
- Strong presentation skills and design team communication
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Confident working to a deadline in a fast paced, busy environment
- Experience in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, SketchUp, Microsoft Excel
- Eligible to work in the UK.
