Senior Interior Designer - International Restaurant Group

If you are a Senior Interior Designer with experience of working for a high-profile creative studio, running and delivering multiple cutting edge projects for restaurants / hospitality / f&b from concept to completion, please get in touch asap.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the in-house studio of this fast-growing and hugely popular restaurant group and work on iconic and highly creative projects, creating the coolest spaces in the world!!  Their style is high end, detailed, fun and very creative, with lots of vintage and bespoke pieces and unique designs for each of their restaurants.

Key responsibilities will include :

  • Delivering a strong design concept and creative vision through sketches and visualisation, adhering to budget and technical constraints
  • Space planning and production of full technical drawing packs, including a strong knowledge of joinery, furniture and construction detailing
  • Overseeing all Contractor drawings
  • Awareness of budget and value engineering where necessary
  • Regular site visits to track project progress, ensuring everything is on time and on budget with follow-up and feedback
  • Co-ordination of MEP and services; co-ordination and collaboration with FF&E team
  • Full management of dressing and installation phase, handover, full maintenance and care guide, project feedback and snagging
  • Mentoring and managing mid and junior members of the team
  • Helping with recruitment and the development of the Studio

Skills

  • A high level of AutoCAD is essential, good proficiency in SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign and MS Office
  • Strong freehand sketching abilities
  • Awareness of current style trends as well as the wider restaurant industry; a strong knowledge and understanding of finishes and materials; good eye for colour and materials, good style and taste

  • Able to work well under pressure and to deadlines
  • Pragmatic with good problem-solving skills
  • Positive attitude and team spirited!
