Our client based in North London are currently recruiting for a Senior Interior Designer to join their team as soon as possible.

This is a full time, permanent position offering hybrid working and a salary of between 40,000 - 50,000 per year dependant on experience.

The purpose of the role is to carry out the technical development of the project, and lead and manage the design team and its delivery of design information on time and within budget, as appropriate

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and brief.
  • Lead a team of designers, providing mentorship and guidance.
  • Develop innovative and unique design concepts that align with project goals. - Create detailed design plans, including layouts, materials, and colour schemes.
  • Oversee the entire design process from concept to completion.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and incorporate them into design concepts.
  • Ensure projects are delivered to the highest standard and within budget and timelines.
  • Review and approve project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and materials selections.
  • Contribute to our research on innovative and sustainable materials.

Requirements:

  • BA or MA interior architecture qualification or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in interior design with a proven track record of leading relevant projects
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software (Revit - SketchUp - Rhinoceros - Adobe Creative Suite etc.)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
