Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Lighting Designer, located in the London Area, United Kingdom with some work from home acceptable. The Senior Lighting Designer will be responsible for creating and overseeing lighting designs, implementing lighting control systems, coordinating with architects, interior designers, and clients, and ensuring that the design meets all aesthetic and functional requirements. Additionally, the role involves regular client interaction, managing project timelines and budgets, and conducting site visits to ensure successful project execution.

Qualifications

  • Skills in Lighting Design and Lighting Control
  • Experience in Architectural Lighting and Interior Design
  • Strong understanding of lighting principles and their practical applications
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Project Communication, be able to communicate the overall design philosophy in relation to the clients vision, maximising and adding value
  • Strong communication and client management abilities
  • Proficient in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, DIALux, Revit)
  • Bachelor's degree in Lighting Design, Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
  • leadership, be able to support designers and assistants and support in developing their skills
  • Knowledge and skills to understand a project from a holistic point of view, be able to interpret the space, function and client requirements into a lighting design from conception to completion
