Do you have experience working on purpose-built student accommodation and high rise build to rent projects? Leading company with award-winning projects continues to enjoy success and expand their portfolio of developments.
As a result, they are seeking a candidate to work out of their London office liaising with the design team from conception to Stage 4/5. You will have at least 10 years' relevant experience and be able to work with full autonomy, managing external consultants and ensuring deadlines are met.
The role:
- Lead external and internal project design teams, organising & coordinating design for sub-contractors
- Provide design management for schemes to ensure deadlines are met
- Manage budget and resources for projects
- Ensure accurate records are kept of all design changes
- Assist with developing a design delivery schedule
- Work closely with project Director to record design & cost issues
Requirements:
- Background in either architecture, design and construction management or architectural technology degree
- Experience as a Technical or Design Manager
- Up-to-date knowledge of construction standards and regulations, with practical knowledge of construction process
- Management experience
- Able to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
- Experience of Asite & Viewpoint
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft
