Career Coach - UniversityEast London£22 per hour - 35 hours per weekInitial 3 month contract - Immediate Start

Randstad are delighted to be working with a renowned East London university. They are recruiting for a Careers Coach to join their team, principally working with L3-L7 art/creative industries students to obtain work, placements and general career support.

This role is on an initial 3 month contract and based primarily on-campus.

Duties:

  • Provide general careers information, advice and guidance to students and alumni looking for support from across our home and international community, cross disciplinary and across all levels of study
  • Help design, develop and deliver employability workshops for students to prepare them for work as well as provide ongoing careers support.
  • Provide 1-2-1 appointments, coaching, e-guidance, telephone, drop-in sessions, workshops and online materials.
  • Ongoing monitoring of all placements to ensure compliance and level of service is maintained for both students and employers.

Experience:

  • Previous experience within a careers, employability or coaching role.
  • Comfortable providing both 1-2-1 and group-based support.
  • An IAG qualification/relevant experience is ideal.
