I am looking to speak to experienced BDM's about a superb new opportunity for a market leading Mortgage Broker based in London.The company are one of the most respected in the South East and they provide mortgage solutions across all areas including private, buy-to-let, residential and business.The role comprises of three main elements:
- Maintain the existing corporate relationships and referral systems they have in place which generates numerous warm leads per month.
- The practice have an affinity relationship with a large Financial Planning organisation with circa 150 financial advisors nationwide. This relationship needs strengthening to ensure the financial advisors are comfortable referring all mortgage opportunities they have to the Brokerage. Strong relationship building skills are required and there will be an expectation to occasionally visit the various practices across the country to promote and develop a two-way referral programme
- Develop professional connections in London with Accountants/Solicitors/Private Banks etc to facilitate further warm leads for the team of Mortgage Brokers.
This is a fantastic time to join the organisation during a time of real growth and innovation across the group. You will be the main Business Development specialist in the company and, as you grow the team, the scope for development into a more senior position is there.You must be able to deal with technical mortgage queries and have credibility and experience to ensure the financial advisors in the business are comfortable referring their clients to the mortgage division. Therefore strong mortgage experience is an absolute must. You must be able to build internal and external relationships, be able to influence key stakeholders, and promote the mortgage service inside and outside the business. You must be able to attend the central London office at least once a week and be prepared to travel to other offices across the UK (this will be occasional however, it's not a field based role).Salary is up to circa £60k but the bonus potential is genuinely exciting. You get 5% of all ongoing business and as it stands today there is an immediate £20,000 bonus that you would receive just off the existing business book before you have had any personal input. £100k plus OTE is more than achievable and the structure is there to earn much more than this too.For a confidential discussion please apply or contact David Elders at IDEX Consulting directly.
