We're delighted to be working with a dynamic and forward-thinking specialty insurer, known for delivering tailored solutions across diverse markets, to support the hire of a Delegated Authority Manager.Joining a fast-growing specialty insurer, that values expertise, collaboration, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing Delegated Authority operations.  As a Delegated Authority Manager, you’ll be at the centre of the company's delegated operations, ensuring governance, compliance, and efficiency while driving improvements in how delegated business is managed. You'll work closely with underwriting, compliance, and finance teams, ensuring seamless data management, clear reporting, and robust oversight of delegated arrangements. Alongside this, you’ll mentor and support one other team member, helping to develop their expertise.Key responsibilities include:
  • Ensuring all DA agreements meet regulatory requirements and internal best practices, working closely with underwriting and compliance teams.
  • Overseeing the timely receipt, processing, and analysis of bordereaux, ensuring data accuracy and actionable insights.
  • Providing senior stakeholders with clear, concise reports on delegated authority performance, highlighting trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to streamline DA work flows, ensuring the business operates efficiently.
Experience you'll need:
  • Solid experience in London Market Delegated Authority operations
  • Strong understanding of FCA regulations and best practices
  • Proven ability to manage workflows, improve processes, and work cross-functionally
  • A proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused mindset
