Main Duties as a Mortgage Advisor / Mortgage Broker:

1. Lead Generation & Client Engagement:
   • Receive 7-10 high-quality new mortgage appointments per week from the estate agency’s incentivized introducers.
   • Work with a database of loyal, existing clients, offering remortgage advice and fostering long-term relationships.
2. Mortgage & Protection Advice:
   • Provide whole-of-market mortgage advice, ensuring clients in South Woodford and Leytonstone secure the best deals tailored to their needs.
   • Deliver protection advice, including life insurance, critical illness cover, and income protection, maintaining a life conversion rate of 70% or higher.
3. Market Expertise:
   • Operate in a high-value property market, with an average property value of £620,000, ranging up to £2 million in premium areas.
4. Compliance & Administration:
   • Ensure all advice is fully compliant with regulatory standards.
   • Leverage dedicated administrative support, allowing you to focus on providing exceptional service and meeting sales targets.
5. Team Collaboration:
   • Work closely with a financial services-focused estate agency team, contributing to a collaborative and results-driven environment.

Key Skills & Requirements:

To excel in this Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Qualifications:
  • Fully CeMAP qualified (or equivalent, such as CF6 or MAQ).
• Experience:
  • Proven track record in mortgage sales, ideally with experience in offering protection advice.
• Skills:
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build strong client relationships.
  • Proactive approach to contacting existing clients and converting leads.
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage products and associated protection services.
• Requirements:
  • A full UK driving license.
  • Clean compliance and credit history.
