Ackerman Pierce are looking to recruit an Assistant Director of Communications In London. The vacancy will be for an initial 3-6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstance and your performance.
Responsibilities include:
- The Assistant Director of Communications is a senior leadership position, holding responsibility for operational oversight of the Council's communications functions and, working with the Chief Marketing Offices and Assistant Director of Strategy
- Brand and Impact, ensuring that our communications activity reflects and supports Newham's brand and strategic, proactive engagement priorities.
- We wish to fundamentally reshape the public perception of the Council, highlighting positive initiatives and innovative, life-changing delivery, while addressing negative issues promptly and comprehensively.
- This role has a pivotal part to play in this endeavour.
Experience preferred:
- Post qualifying experience of working as an Assistant Director within the UK.

Minimum Requirements:
- 5 years' post qualifying experience
- Managerial experience
- Enhanced DBS (we can obtain for you)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
