Associate Director - Structural

75k-80k plus car/travel allowance

Unique opportunity to join a global firm who deliver creative design, engineering and project delivery solutions across a wide range of sectors with a focus on integrated design and collaboration.

They are seeking an Associate Director in their London office to work closely with the Director, leading the civil and structural team in achieving their goals and project deliveries.

You will have experience at a similar level and be proud of your ability to mentor, train and develop a team. ICE training agreements and/or IStructE objectives will fall within your remit, and you will enhance the capabilities of the team, motivating individuals to achieve maximum performance.

About you:

  • At least 10 years' post Chartership experience in civil or structural engineering
  • Able to demonstrate leadership and management skills
  • CSCS Card and safety training such as TWC, NEBOSH, IOSH, Nuclear Triple Bar or similar
  • SC Clearance of able to obtain
  • Full clean UK driving licence

As well as your leadership and management skills, you will bring with you expert knowledge of design in areas such as building structures, drainage and external works, foundations and substructures and specialist knowledge or expertise in nuclear, seismic, contaminated land and more.

You will possess high levels of commercial awareness and be fully conversant in all contract aspects, including cost and programme setting. Part of your role will be to discharge responsibilities under CDM and H&S regulations, with a strong awareness of all other duty holders' responsibilities.
