We are seeking an Enrichment Officer to lead and develop a range of enrichment activities that support students in building resilience, staying safe, and developing employability, personal, and social skills within a further education establishment.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Lead, supervise, organise, and evaluate a programme of enrichment activities across the college to enrich the community and build positive relationships with students.
  • Promote and develop the Inspiring Futures / KC Xtra programme to embed personal development and active participation in college life.
  • Develop and maintain links with college staff and external organisations to contribute to the enrichment offer.
  • Recruit, coordinate, and monitor student attendance at activities, providing strategies to increase engagement and maximise resources.
  • Administer effective student communications through various channels to promote the enrichment offer.
  • Plan and deliver cross-college workshops, presentations, and events, including induction sessions.
  • Identify 'at risk' students and provide pastoral support as required.
  • Produce and review health and safety risk assessments related to activities.
  • Contribute to college events such as Open/Admissions Events and Freshers’ Fairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of student contact and activities to monitor participation and outcomes.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships internally and externally to support 'at risk' students.
  • Produce reports to evaluate and review the performance of the service.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in student services or a similar role within an educational setting.
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in planning and delivering student-focused activities.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and the ability to act as a Safeguarding Officer.
  • Proficiency in using technology for communication and record-keeping.
