A UK-based business information, publishing, and events company is seeking a dynamic sales professional to join their Events and Exhibitions portfolio.
This role involves working on both new and existing projects within the supply chain, logistics, transport, and technology markets. The company hosts various exhibitions and conferences, both virtual and in-person, and publishes several industry-related magazines.

Core Tasks
- Achieve budgeted sales revenues across the events and exhibitions portfolio
- Manage existing accounts to maximize yields through a value-based sales approach
- Identify and create new revenue opportunities (upselling, new revenue streams, etc.)
- Re-engage with lapsed accounts to regain sales
- Proactively develop new accounts through telephone and face-to-face activities (exhibitions, client visits, etc.)
- Utilize CRM system daily to record and plan client contacts
- Develop sales strategies with management and colleagues
- Provide accurate forecasts and sales reports
- Conduct competitor analysis and act on opportunities
- Manage workload (sales & non-sales) and meet all deadlines
- Perform any other duties as reasonably expected
